Position: MDS Coordinator/Auditor
Objective: To accuratelyassess and ensure the overall quality of the care being given to long-term care residents
Location: Remote (Work from home)
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time
Type of Work: Full time, permanent
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the quality of the care being given to long-term care residents
- Participate in the admission process of prospective residents in terms of their nursing needs and appropriate placement
- Review all applications for admission, followed by on-site or phone assessment, and communicate results of assessment to the Admissions Coordinator.
- Facilitate problem-solving for complicated admissions
- Develop a care plan that has long-term and short-term goals for improvement
- Conduct meetings with multi-disciplinary treatment teams, caretakers, and families
- Complete and ensure the accuracy of MDS process for all residents
- Maintain current working knowledge of Medicare criteria, serving as a resource for nursing staff and communicating changes in regulations
- Monitor Medicare assessment schedules and nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submissions
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as MDS coordinator or related experience
- Experience physically working in the US, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Current and valid state nursing license
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
- Exceptional mathematical skills and ability to apply them to tasks such as analysis of variance and sampling theory
- Demonstrable knowledge of state and federal regulations

Salary: Php45,000.00 - Php63,000.00 per month
